Our D1 training was excellent from start to finish. The level & standard of instructions were very good and very flexible with timing and meeting points. The end result of passing the D1 test first time was really a happy occasion.

We've been working together for a little over two years now, most of the training provided was for our passenger assistants and drivers, but we also did the First Aid training with the office team and I did the PATS trainer of trainers course with Samir.

After all this time, I must say I am impressed by the way he does things. Through TwC training we have trained over 200 drivers and assistants, and the quality of the service and the patience of the trainers earns them about fifty stars, not just 5. Once I send someone to get trained, whether it is a PATS, or a MiDas, or a Pediatric First Aid, or a simple safeguarding course, I truly can rely on the result being dependable and I fully trust the information our staff receives.

The ease of exchanging the information, the atmosphere in the classroom and the very interesting case studies that are discussed ensure that our assistants and drivers leave with a sizeable and reliable understanding of what it is to work with our special needs clients and that they can perform their job with true care for the people they help transport.

I recently attended a MiDAS DAT course with Samir as the lead trainer. The course was informative, well paced and Samir’s presentation skills were done in a way that constantly kept my attention. He was very knowledgeable in the subject matter and I look forward to having further training with TWC.

Our volunteer drivers always had concerns about dealing with clients who are frail and have walking difficulties and after so much time searching for a suitable training course, SCT came forward and designed a package for us. With regard to the DAT Induction training course I felt it was done very well. The venue was good and the hospitality at same was excellent. I found it extremely helpful to see a completely different delivery style. The on-road element with your role-playing really highlighted the many ways in which poor driving standards can affect safety. Very good session. I was able to give my own views and experience. I liked the way we all had to introduce ourselves. Also learnt about my legal rights, where to sit on the minibus and how to deal with passengers who need extra help.

A good training/refresher session. Looked at the Highway Code, reporting problems and concerns, dealing with disabled passengers and good driving skills. Thank you.

The (Wednesday) MIDAS session at Long Melford for Go-Start drivers, at which I sat in as a spectator, achieved a very good standard. I think you may have obtained feedback from each of the participants - I have not seen that and as at this evening have not had a chance to speak to any of them BUT regardless of what they may have said I was really pleased with content.

As this was a small group a more general knowledge and greater awareness of the MiDAS & PATS program was achieved. Both courses were very thoroughly run, my knowledge has been enhanced greatly. I also found the course and the people on it most helpful and had an enjoyable week whilst learning.

Course was excellent. Very methodical and systematic training, well presented with very good real life examples. Different types of disabilities and difficulties and how to deal with each one of them. Also how to clump a wheelchair inside a vehicle. The role of the PA was covered in detail.

Although the session was very good and very informative, the day was very long. The session kept moving along quite quickly but I did feel that with 3 DAT`s to train we might have been better to do it over 2 days and not 1 as the last few slides where rushed through. The driving element takes up a fair bit of time on the road which we did at lunch time and the accessible part was done late afternoon with light fading and lots of standing around outside on a cold January day, so that`s all i would change. Do it over 2 days and not 1. All in all the session was Excellent. Thanks.

1- Excellent course. Well informed practical session. 2-Enjoyable session. Useful refresher & new information regarding hoe long fire can engulf the minibus & lenght of time extinguisher lasts. 3-Very good. Concise to the point, very clear objectives that were met in the session. 4- Really enjoyed the practical session with role play on how to get off a vehicle full of smoke. The EFAW session was excellent, I`ve learnt very useful/helpful information in regards with emergency techniques and CPR steps which may save a life.

I do not know where to start, in the past I`ve heard a lot about First Aid and CPR and now I know exactly what they mean. I can honestly say that everything I wanted to learn about First Aid was thoroughly explained. I understood all the things presented to me due to the fact Samir ( the lead trainer ) knew exactly what he was talking about and had the knowledge to put his points across. Excellent Course, highly recommended.

Was very welcoming, the venue was accommodating, plenty refreshments were onsite, lunch was also provided. Anything I was unaware of I was able to ask the trainer and he would explain it very clearly and help with anything that I was stuck on. lead trainer a very nice guy and with his valuable help and encouragement I passed my DAT & PAT courses.

Feedback: 3 from a personal point of view I enjoyed the session, it was good to see the other guys again apart from the training we have no other communication with each other. It was also good to hear other people's teaching methods (and steal one or two ideas ) . Always runs a great course being really relaxed and friendly and good to see some of his own ideas that we can use in the classroom…..would like to add that I would like to to see these meetings a couple of times a year just to keep us all communicating and making sure we are all teaching the same way and to the same high standards. Feedback: 4 The event was great for product sharing, it seems we have guidelines from MIDAS and the CTA and then we all do our own thing with different interpretations and presentations and was good to share the information, I was happy to take part anyway.

Spent an enjoyable long day to cover DAT & PATs Refresher. Lot of material was covered. Not only was it informative but trainer showed and gave a lot of good advice and fun way to deliver the course without diverting from the course material. I will be incorporating "entertaining" and informative videos in my Standard and Accessible courses. Trainer has a calm and generous manner in his his approach to covering the refresher course.
